Magandang Pagsasamahan Tungo sa Maayos at Maunlad na Lipunan

Unity brings forth progress. Within unity resides the spirit of love among the members of the society. Hand in hand, people contribute in attaining every single goal.
Thus, just like every successful edifice, each wall is further put up by a group of agog and dedicated people.
We, the Filipinos are best known for our eagerness in attaining our goals. We do everything, risk everything just to reach the brightest star- that something that we have been aiming for. We struggle hard. Harder! We set our best foot forward in everything we do. We might fall for some time, but this obstacle had never been a hindrance for us to continue dreaming.
Real, that "no man is an island". In floating through each stepping stone, we see the people around us. Just ask for help and they're willing to to with you always. In good teamwork, everything hard goes easy. People hold each other's hand pushing through, gaining through. In which, everyone contributes sweat and blood. Everyone gives a hand in putting up his society. His home. Attaining progress, having a better life.

A JOCUND BREAK

The nerve-breaking tests really turned our heads out. This Second Grading Period is sooo tiring. Sleepless nights. Stressful mornings. Projects. Quizzes. Requirements. Special projects. Most of all, the PERIODICAL TEST. These brought our bodies to shut down.

Suddenly, AT LAST! It's SEMESTRAL BREAK!

It's so unusual for us to wake up this late, yet, we're so glad for we were able to take long nap. In the morning, I wake up facing the laptop and play POKER! *gahh! I became addict with it! Also, I had fun watching sorts of music videos, sometimes, I watch guitar covers and movie trailers. Another thing, I search for the bands suggested by my sister. :) Aside from exploring the net, my siblings and I also had movie marathon. It's just fine to sleep late! \m/ My parents never scolded us. We watched lots of movies, and my favorite was the Diary of a Wimpy Kid. I also like the mythological features of the Clash of the Titans. During this vacay, I also go to school for some time. I watch the practice of "LAGIM" or the performance of my schoolmates to the Vigan Twilight Festival. After the practice, Jenny, Alvin, and Rosbert joined me in walking homeward. We enjoyed each step we set on the roads. We also tell stories of our own. On October 30, I went to school and visited our contestants. :) They really looked creepy! I followed them until Plaza Burgos. Gosh! They were all good! The showdown was performed first, followed by the street dancing. 'Twas already past ten when the event was over.

So happy! I enjoyed the vacay with Jen, ny sister, and the net. I hope we could still have something like this AGAIN.

Second Quarter

Whew! Another quarter has passed. It's nice thinking that another bag of priceless knowledge is bestowed upon us. :) Well, learning is quite hard yet so enjoyable.

This Second Grading, we've learned a lot especially on our subject ICT IV.

On our blogs, we are to post topics related to school activities such as the Science Month Celebration, English Olympics, and the Teachers' Day. We made essays on the themes of these activities. Another thing we had learned is the basic Web Page Design. This is on HTML.

Filipinnovation: The Way Forward

Technology came about when man began to apply his knowledge in making new food, fabrics, and medicine. And we see now, in the modern world, we could say that there is already a rapid growth of this Technology. These technologies has

Breaking Barriers Through English

Change is an unending cycle in man's life. All of us experience change. And as we go through these changes, we do encounter barriers. Hardships. Some of these barriers are ignorance, discrimination, and doubtful minds. These things may stop someone or something in developing itself. And solutions do sometimes hide behind. But, merely looking at these, there is one great solution that one could suggest. That's English!

English is widely known as the universal language. Everywhere you go, as long as you know how to speak in English, you won't get lost.

English promotes unity among nations. Thus, with this unity, people could hold each other's hand. Together, we can solve problems easily. Fear is not a question. As understanding flows through each vein, each fight would be a grandslam. Communication among people is a big thing. And English, as a medium one that could fix anything.

Imagine a world with no term of understanding. Tragedy. War is what will reign. Furthermore, there will be no progress. Everybody's dreams will turn into dust. And lives will be broken.

Let us stop this nightmare! Let us follow our dreams through English! 'Cause English do break barriers.

My Teacher : My Hero

Teach.
With happiness.
With dedication.
With sacrifice.
With love.

They are the molders of the world. Thus, they are the reason behind any profession. They serve not only for the school nor the government but for the humanity. The whole wide world. In every pinch of chalk scratched on the board, in every drop of sweat, in every word they utter, students' knowledge goes wider. Since the very start, teachers are there not only for themselves but for the nation's future. Indeed, they have served as our second parents.
Teachers are like God's replicates. Teaching people of different kinds, coping up with them, is not that easy. But with a little sacrifice and determination, super satisfaction will be attained.

Teachers save us from doubts.
Teachers save us from ignorance.
Teachers save us from discrimination.

It has been said by our forefathers that the youth is the hope of the nation. In their hands lie the country and the world's future. But, this endeavor wouldn't be possible without the youth's mentors - the teachers. With all the things they bear to us, treating us as their own children, we should compensate to their efforts. Like every mother's and father's day, they deserve the intense love and thanks from us. They have touched every mind, every life.
They'll help you cross the mountains and fly you to the atmosphere of knowledge. Teachers help you cross the roads of challenges. They help you sail the wide sea of wisdom. Moreover, they can save you from falling the buildings you are up to.

Kudos for a job well done, TEACHERS!
You are the superhero of the world.
We, the students greatly salute you!

First Quarter.

So fast yet so meaningful. That's how I can describe my Fourth Year First Grading Period. I can't merely imagine that it has already finished. Well, this grading can also be referred to as the FAMILIARIZATION part. We encountered new different faces most especially our teachers'. We ought to know different teaching techniques of the teacher so that we will be able to cope up with their lessons well. Oh my! Our new teachers are super serious. No one ever dares to crack jokes.

As we walked through the path of the First quarter, we somehow meet problems. I'm actually hardened up with memorization. I usually get low in the test because of this thing. Well, I just take in mind that whatever the thing I am weak with, I should practice it so that I'll end up learning something. I did concentrate and somehow I saw little improvements. It's but normal for I am on the start still.

ICT has been one of my favorite subjects since First Year. I really love technology. With computers, I can go miles and miles away in just a click. And now, on the Fourth Year stage, we go up focusing on the Internet. We took up many lessons. One of this is the Timeline of the Internet. I hate dates. But I loved the trivias. We also shook hands with the people behind Internet such as Vinton Cerf, William Torres, Eric Bina, etc. We also studied about blogs and other facts about it. I have learned that the word BLOG came from web+log. Well, blog is an online journal. Just like what you are reading now. We also came up to the search terms: phrase searching, boolean, and the pseudo boolean, and the term weighing. The last lesson we took up was the parts of a URL or the Uniform Resource Locator.

I had so many learnings even though it's just the First Quarter. I am expecting to learn more and more each day. Improvements for myself is on the plan also. I hope I could get higher pitch next time.

"Sa Pagkaing Tama at Sapat, Wastong Timbang ni Baby ang Katapat"

Mothers are the God's Messiah. they are the ones who hold the lives of the newly born children blessed by God. They are the caretakers of the new generation- the future. And as mothers, great responsibilities are given and they must always do their job, since pregnancy, until the time God permits.

Awareness is one of the most significant factors in parenthood. The couple should be aware of the things that may affect the growth of their child. During pregnancy, always eat the right food. Remember that what you eat is what your baby receives. Find your limitations. What is insufficient or in excess is always bad for someone. Keep yourself informed about the things you should always do and not to do during that stage. Welcome suggestions from other mothers. Do not forget the three types of a healthy food: the Glow, the Go, and the Grow foods. Take in vitamins. Have enough exercise. Take sufficient rest and sleep. You should never experience stress. And as you go further, stop, or somehow avoid taking in liquors, smoking, inhaling of prohibited drugs and other things affecting your pregnancy. Who knows? Your child might have serious defects. Always take in mind that repenting always comes last.
As a mother, be responsible. It is always your duty to keep your baby safe. Target your baby's normal weight and health. For everything starts there. As a mother, in your hand lies the future of your child. The future of the youth. The next generation.

Letter to the President of the Philippines

Dear Mr. President,

After the recently concluded Philippine Presidential Elections, I give you my greatest salute! It has been the heaviest pleasure leading your fellowmen. As you now accept the responsibilities being the President, please do open your eyes to this message from this simple high school student.
Be ready, for as you accept the lives of the Filipinos, you will also be facing the problems of the society, widen your vision as you find solutions. It's now the time for you to prove yourself to everyone. Listen to the cry of the poor, the shout of the youth, and to the voices of workers. Open your heart, mind, and soul for a better leadership but make sure that it's only for the good side. Never let the dark air take you in, for you are the hope we are waiting for. Hear people's pieces of advice, but immediately trust someone. Focus like how a soldier shoot his weapon to the enemies and stop the unending war in Mindanao. Prioritize what people need most: education and occupation. Stop corruption as you promised during campaigns. Not only that but implement also platforms that you have planned.
It's your time now. Take your parents as your inspiration. Never throw away people's expectations. Always remember that we are always here, ready to cooperate. And never ever forget the Almighty God, the source of everything.
*Choose the best leaders as your companions in uplifting the lives of the Filipinos.
